This project website relates to the proposed residential development at 67-73 Carlton Place, Glasgow. We are keen to gain the views of the community and local stakeholders and we welcome any feedback you may have on the proposed development.

We are keen to hear the views of the local community as your feedback will inform our proposals as we move towards submitting an application for planning permission.

This website will be available for viewing between 10th May and 31st May 2021. Feedback and comments can be provided throughout this period by email to 73carltonplace@iceniprojects.com or via the feedback form on the website.

Any comments must be received by no later than 31st May 2021.

A live session will take place on Wednesday 19th May 2021, between 3pm and 7pm. During these times, members of the design team will be available to answer questions submitted by email (73carltonplace@iceniprojects.com) or telephone (0141 465 4996).

During this time, we will endeavour to respond to all queries received. If this is not possible, you will receive a response to your query within 48 hours.

Please note that comments made at this time are no representations to the Planning Authority. Once the planning application is submitted, there will be an opportunity to make formal representations regarding the proposed development to Glasgow City Council.

Why Are We Consulting?

On 29th March 2021, we submitted a Proposal of Application Notice (PoAN) on behalf of Thirdline Studio to Glasgow City Council.

The PoAN contained the following description of development:

Demolition of extension, erection of new build residential (co-living) development and conversion of existing category B listed building to residential (co-living) use (sui generis) with a commercial unit to be used for retail (Class 1), professional services (Class 2), food and drink (Class 3), office (Class 4) or leisure (Class 11), landscaping, parking and associated works.

Submission of the PoAN commenced a statutory 12-week period of pre-application consultation.

In line with Scottish Government advice, it is not currently possible to host a face-to-face public consultation event. As an alternative, and in line with Scottish Government guidance, information about the redevelopment proposals for this site is available to view on this website.
